Who provides the service
These terms apply between you and Anbessa, Inc., the company operating Axe. Our business notice address is 2250 Buchanan Street, Apt 8, San Francisco, CA 94115.
Account and authority
Use accurate information for your Axe account and verify your email. If you enable two step verification, protect your authenticator and recovery codes. Submit only materials you are authorised to process through the service and its providers. Organisation owners administer membership and billing; this does not grant access to another member's private work.
A signed agreement controls any expressly agreed variation and any stricter restriction on customer data use. Applicable legal rights remain unaffected by these terms.
The service and review
Axe performs research, analysis, document work, and reusable Agent workflows. Outputs can be incomplete or incorrect. Review material facts, calculations, citations, and proposed actions before relying on or distributing them. The PowerPoint add in links the open document to its web Task.
Axe does not provide investment advice, legal, tax, accounting, or other professional advice. You remain responsible for your decisions, required records, source entitlements, and supervision of the work.
Your content and evaluation
You retain your rights in submitted content. You authorise Axe to host, copy, and process it to carry out your work and provide support, security, and required legal functions, subject to your agreement and applicable law.
We do not use customer content to train models. Private internal evaluation is enabled by default only where disclosed terms and processing authority permit it. It helps assess and improve accuracy and reliability. An opt out or stricter agreement overrides that default. Older content is used only with applicable permission. Evaluation does not authorise publication or use in another customer's work.
Your organisation owner can change Evaluation settings, or you can contact privacy@withaxe.ai. Opting out stops further evaluation use and starts cleanup of evaluation copies, without changing ordinary access or prices. AI processing, retention, authorised human review, and deletion are described in the privacy policy.
Trials and Agent access
Eligible new accounts can start a 14 day trial with 5,000 credits after adding a card through Stripe Checkout. The selected plan, monthly price and first charge date are shown before you confirm. Trials are limited to one per eligible person and card, subject to the available promotion allowance. Team members share one trial allowance.
Trials, active paid plans and purchased credit access include Assistant work and Agents, including creation, Teach, Test, publication and execution. Available credits and spending limits apply. Running out of trial credits pauses new work; it does not start billing early. You can explicitly choose to end your trial and start the paid plan immediately. Unused trial credits expire when the trial ends or paid access starts. Reading delivered files does not consume credits, subject to access and file retention.
Subscriptions, prices and purchases
Billing shows your plan, credit prices and available balance. Research and editing consume credits. The amount used varies with the work requested.
Subscriptions renew monthly at the selected plan price, plus applicable tax, unless canceled before renewal. A trial converts to that paid subscription at the disclosed date unless canceled first. By confirming the subscription in Stripe Checkout, you authorise these recurring charges. You can manage your subscription and payment method in Billing.
Monthly credits become available after successful payment and reset at each renewal. They do not roll over. Purchased top up credits do not expire and are used after the current trial or monthly allowance. Top ups are explicit one time payments and do not authorise automatic reloads. Payment status, invoices and your balance are available in Billing. Prices exclude applicable customer tax.
Cancellation, failures, and refunds
Cancel your subscription in Billing before the trial ends or the next renewal to stop the next charge. Access under the subscription continues until the current trial or paid period ends. Plan changes take effect at the next renewal without an immediate prorated charge. Cancellation preserves your completed work and purchased credits, subject to account access and file retention. Canceling does not automatically refund a completed payment.
Work already performed may consume credits even if it is canceled, fails or expires. Your available balance is shown in Billing.
For payment errors, refund requests, or disputes, contact billing@withaxe.ai. Include the purchase reference, not card details. Refund eligibility follows applicable law and your agreed purchase terms. Canceling a run or closing an account does not itself initiate a card refund. Refunds, reversals, and payment disputes may affect your credit balance and ability to start new work.
Acceptable use and availability
Do not violate law or another person's rights, distribute malware, bypass security controls, expose credentials, or probe the service without authorisation. Use only data and destinations permitted for your work.
Axe may restrict access or change features to address security, unlawful use, or service operation. Export and deletion remain subject to identity checks, applicable law, and the retention terms described in the privacy policy. Any service level commitments are set out in your agreement.
Responsibility and contact
To the extent permitted by law, the service is provided without a guarantee of uninterrupted availability, error free results, or fitness for a particular purpose. Rights and liabilities that cannot legally be excluded remain unaffected. Changes do not retroactively expand permission to use existing customer content.
