Teaching an Agent
Teach an Agent in plain language. Axe drafts a readable workflow of steps, checks, decisions and approvals that you correct by conversation.
You teach an Agent the way you would brief a new analyst: in conversation, with the materials you already use.
Starting
Open Agents in the bar at the top, choose New Agent and describe the work. Useful material includes your methodology, templates, prior reports, analyst instructions and corrections. Finished examples help but are not required.
The Agent is created when you send your first message. Axe asks for missing material only when it changes the method, and applies each valid update to a private draft.
Reading the workflow
Once Axe knows what the Agent should produce and how, it shows the method as a workflow you can read top to bottom. Each step has a kind:

You never edit code or wire steps together. On a wide screen the workflow sits beside the conversation, like this:

We publish the LNG Buyer Brief every month for utilities in Japan, Korea and Taiwan. Our methodology and the August edition are attached. Set up how we produce it.

I have set up the brief the way your methodology describes it: collect the month's evidence, roll the buyer balance forward, reconcile against customs data, then write in the format of the August edition. Your head of research approves every edition before it goes out.
Only signed SPAs count as contracted. Keep prospective capacity separate from operating supply.
Done. Volumes without a signed SPA now go to a pipeline table and never enter the contracted balance.
Correcting a step
Select a step to see what it uses, what it produces and any open questions. Your next message then applies to that step. You can also attach an example to a step to show what good looks like.
If Axe cannot apply a change, the draft stays exactly as it was.
Testing before you publish
Test freezes the exact draft and opens a fresh Task, where you run it on real inputs with normal files, results and review. Testing is recommended but not required before publishing.
